Review & Giveaway: Shibari Halo Attachments

A complement to Shibari Halo Wands. Designed for Increased Stimulation and Pleasure. Phthalate Free and Made of 100 % TPR.

Designed exclusively to fit Halo Wand Smooth, sleek, and has a straight handle for relaxation, stress relief and tension Hygienic, water-proof material cleans up easily with soap and water.

All three Shibari Halo attachments I received came in a light blue cardboard box with images of the product in both the front and the side. Inside each box, the attachments come wrapped in a plastic bag.

The packaging does mention the material of these attachments is TPR at the bottom of the box. It’s also mentioned on the company’s website so you’re aware that it requires a certain treatment.

All three of these attachments are white, firm but very flexible and are made of phthalate-free TPR (Thermoplastic rubber). This material is hypoallergenic and nontoxic but it is more porous and less durable than silicone. To prevent the spread of bacteria and other infectious agents, it is recommend to use a condom.

The best lubricant choice with toys made of TPR is water-based lube. And in the cleaning process is it best to use antibacterial soap, sex toy cleaners and water. After cleaning, the toy should air dry on a lint-free cloth and then stored individually.

This material cannot be sterilized by boiling, is not dishwasher safe and 10% bleach solution should be avoided. If not, the material will break down.

I reviewed the Shibari Halo last year (Check my review here) and received these attachments courtesy of Shibari in exchange for my honest review. Each one is a complement to the Shibari Halo Wand and are designed to increase pleasure and stimulation.

The caps on the attachments are hard to slip on and off. They do fit nicely but a few drops of a good water-based lubricant inside the caps helps a lot.

The Halo I is completely straight and has a rounded tip. The vibrations from the wand are transferred to it amazingly. Halo I is a little flexible, but it also has a lot of strength and allows to apply pressure in all the right places without losing much power.

Halo II also has a rounded tip, but unlike Halo I it is sightly curved and has bumps on the shaft. The Halo II is comfortable to use both internally and externally. The rumbly, filling, deep and precise vibrations makes it a great G-spot stimulatorAnd, the the long textured shaft is fantastic to tease on and around your clitorisAlso, you can grind yourself with it and had some great orgasms as well.

The third attachment, Halo III, was designed to simultaneously hit all three spots. Adding much more fun to the Halo’s vibrating patterns. I didn’t test this one since I’m not into anal stimulation, but I’ll be giving it away to one lucky reader.

Overall these attachments are a great enhancement to the Shibari Halo wand, but have the downside of being porous. They are definitely an amazing addition if they are cared well.
